About the Artist
I live and paint in North Florida . I'm a self taught artist and have had a connection to the arts all my life.
Although I've worked in other mediums including oils, pastels, and colored pencil, I settled into watercolor and graphite pencil in 1990 and never looked back . Some of the subjects I paint include flowers, animals, nature and women. It's my way of bringing some joy and beauty into this world.
At the present time I am a member of the Tallahassee Watercolor Society , and a former member of The East Hillsborough Guild, The Central Florida Art Society, and Lakeland Art Guild where I've won many awards including Artist of the Month and Artist of the Year 2005/06 for both Watercolor and Pencil. My work hangs in collections throughout the U.S., Europe, Asia, and Australia.
Although not accepting commission work at this time, in the past I have done commissioned portraits, animal portraits, and other works including murals .
